Social media influencers have marshaled their foot soldiers to compel the President to intervene in the case of a city businessman who has lost his property to goons and harassed by the police.

Yesterday, Mukhtar Ahmed , highlighted his plight in a lengthy letter he penned to the head of state. The latter was published on local daily.

While the police have denied harassing Mr. Mukhtar, video footage has surfaced showing cops manhandling the businessman.

The footage has sparked outcry on social media; Kenyans have been blasting the police with the loudest voice possible.
