AN EXPLOSIVE SHOW AS NTV’S #THETREND HOSTS DENNIS ITUMBI AND ROBERT ALAI

NTV recently introduced  a brand new show titled #theTrend, which was basically a feature on social media trends across the country, as Kenyans increasingly take to the social media scape to air their issues and opinions and try to drive change in their society.

There have been a number of reactions to this venture by NTV, which is its latest and arguably an answer to Al Jazeera’s popular show #TheStream. 

#TheTrend is hosted by NTV Journalist James Smat and is a pioneering concept in the region as far as taking a fresh look at how social media activity shapes the society. 

The hottest episode yet must then be the show tonight that will feature two prolific characters who have been influencing the ‘online’ community in Kenya for quite awhile.
