KNEC To Mend AUDREY MBUGUA’S Certificate Within 45 Days Without Gender Section

‘She’ has hit news headlines for years now in the country and it is like ‘she’ is going to hit them even more after the High Court of Kenya granted ‘her’ request.

Audrey Mbugua, formerly known as Andrew Mbugua who changed his gender from male to female and wants to be recognised so has won the battle ‘she’ took to court with the Kenya National Examinations Council.

KNEC has now been ordered to mend Andrew’s certificate to Audrey Mbugua and not to include the gender section in the certificate.

This means that Audrey’s certificate will be totally unique from those held by other Kenyans. Audrey wanted this to be so because ‘she’ feels more female than male.

His gender transformation has created massive controversy in the country leading to a heated debate on whether to absorb him into the society or to consider him an alien.

However, now the court appears to favour Audrey’s need for recognition as a female Kenyan even though ‘she’ was naturally born male.
