Raw Emotions In Kenya As Ben Carson Overtakes Donald Trump To Lead Republican Presidential Race In New US National Poll
Is US going to have another President with Kenyan roots? Too early to start celebrating but billionaire Donald Trump is now playing second fiddle to Ben Carson.
Popular American neurosurgeon and author, Ben Carson, has seized the national lead from Donald Trump in a new national poll.
Carson who revealed he traces his ancestry in Turkana area has been trailing the hardliner tycoon ever since Republican primary race started.
The results of a poll conducted by CBS News/New York Time which was released before yesterday’s third Republican presidential primary debate, showed Carson was leading nationally with 26% while Trump closely shadowed him at 22%.
Other Republican presidential hopefuls only managed to score 8% and below.

• Donald Trump — 22 percent
• Marco Rubio — 8 percent
• Jeb Bush — 7 percent
• Carly Fiorina — 7 percent
• Rand Paul — 4 percent
• Ted Cruz — 4 percent
• John Kasich — 4 percent
• Mike Huckabee — 4 percent
Kenyans warmed up to news about Carson’s lead with many causing quite a fuss on social media.
