Disgruntled KOT Channel Anger Towards Greek Authorities
Since Saturday, some 301 passengers aboard a Kenya Airways flight have been stranded at Athens Airport something that prompted singer Muthoni DQ (who is among the passengers) to lash out at the national carrier for negligence. This morning however, KQ has confirmed the denial of clearance by the Greece Civil Aviation in spite of approval by Kenya Civil Aviation Authority and the manufacturers, Boeing, for reasons yet to be officially communicated.
In a press statement today, Kenya Airways said that it has sent another plane to Athens to rescue the rest of its stranded passengers with reports indicating that the first 18 passengers arrived in Nairobi this morning from Greece. Among them were kids, the sick and anyone else who needed immediate evacuation. However, Kenyans on Twitter have a score to settle with the Greeks.
Under the banner, #SomeoneTellGreece, the online community Monday morning took a swipe at the Greece authorities for ‘pulling a Chinedu’ with the Kenya Airways plane;
