Breaking News! Blankets And Wines Cancelled!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, music lovers and Blankets and Wine enthusiasts of all sizes, shapes and humour, blankets and wine has been cancelled!

The blankets team that had gone through the painstaking task of organising this month’s edition only to see all their efforts come to naught after today’s down pour experienced in various parts of the city. Well, they say a woman’s prerrogative is to change her mind and mother nature has taken full advantage of this.

Though the rains have subsided, the grounds are wet and soggy therefore no picnicking can take place ergo no blankets. But to mitigate the dissappointment of their fans, the team has stated that all those who had already purchased tickets can still use them at the next edition of the event. Actually, the tickets are valid for the next three events.

Here’s how Muthoni Ndong’a broke the news on her Facebook page:

“Due to sudden extreme rain,we have to cancel blankets&wine today. To be clear anyone who already had bought a ticket can use that ticket at one of these next events: Jan6th,Feb3rd or April7th. Our main concern is the under the circumstances, we cannot give a good experience today. The grounds are wet&muddy. so sorry☹ “
