It’s the day before Friday. I don’t know about you but the fact that Friday is just next door, gets me all excited and in the party mood. I can already see the weekend approaching and it looks good.

Lucky we Nairobi peeps, because there is no night at all when there is no fun here in Nairobi. This is the city where clubs are packed to the maximum on a Monday night, all through the week till Sunday.

“What’s the plan for today,” you ask? Well, let me introduce you to the Conscious Thursdays. This is a reggae, ragga, roots, lovers rock, dancehall event that gets everybody ready for the weekend and give flavour to Friday which will ofcourse find you there.

Conscious Thursdays goes down every other Thursdays at the Hornbill Club in Buru Buru, popularly known as HB. The Musikal Sheriff, DJ Shiqx, DJ Patiz and Rankin’ Izzoh will be holding it down on the decks through out the night as MC JNR C’MOH takes over the mic as the MC.

Party starts at 6PM till dawn. See you there.
