Jimmy Gait’s Last Appearance Was So Important, Even Bob Collymore Attended

The “Make It or Make It” event started at 1pm with with the stadium packed with hype from MC Njugush and Dj Tabz. The event was very well organised,security was at its best and the program ran as it had been planned. The stage was awesome and the sound too. The weather was at its best. The concert kicked off with performance from Thika artists, namely Deno, Sain, Stevo and Abby. We then had performances from Thika gospel dance groups SGT and BGP.

 

The Nairobi set kicked off with DJ Moh of System Unit who received massive appreciation from the crowd. The curtain raisers included:

-Hope kid performing his song, “Like a Dream”

– Hey-Z with his song “Bado Nasonga.”

– Mr.seed singing “PAPA GOD OH”

– Altarmin Dancers from Nairobi

– DK with his fresh new hit song SARI SARI,

– and Paul Mwai with his track, “I’m In The Race”

– and finally Willy Paul (MPENZI)

 

By this time, the stadium was fully packed with 10,000 young people who were in high spirits waiting for the moment they all came for!

 

Jimmy’s set was what everyone was waiting for and for sure he delivered beyond expectation as usual, which he started off with Make it or Make it anthem song OLE. After that, he called in Catherine Ndereba and she talked about how she made it from from down to where she is today and encouraged the youth to use their talents to become great people and to make it in life!

Jimmy then performed his new hit “Appointment” which was due to the demand of the thrilled crowd, and clearly the song Appointment which has taken over airwaves truly proved to be a hit looking at the crowds reaction which was singing word to word of the song.

He then called Kamau (jigger campaign CEO) former jigger victim who inspired the youth to be victims to situations but to choose to be victors. On came HURATITI..After he invited his bishop Allan Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church who is also the official Bishop for the Make it or Make it Campaign, took it to the next level and motivated the youth on believing in God and oneself to be able to make it in life! The crowd was totally charged as they shouted Amen to every punch line that he dropped after which he made a powerful prayer for everyone who was there.

Then Jimmy performed his last two songs. FURIFURI ORIGNAL and lastly FURIFURI REMIX which he was joined by DK and they left the crowd wanting for more! The show ended on a high note and people still didnt want to leave, they had to be pushed away.

The campaign is totally becoming bigger than expected with make it or make it becoming a trending topic on social media.
