TARRUS RILEY COMING TO KENYA!

After all the false starts and erroneous and misleading claims about a possible Tarrus Riley concert…

It has finally been confirmed that he will be in Kenya, live and in the flesh this August!

He is set to be here courtesy of a global music festival called “Big Tuners Festival of Music” and this will mark his debut African tour and Kenya has the pleasure of hosting him!

Trust that i have neither love nor sleep to lose over most of Jamaica’s current crop of musicians who by my own estimation make rooooooobbish music but this artist is an Oasis in a dry and cruel musical desert! He is known for his bangers such as “Wildfire”, “She’s Royal”, “Getty Getty No Wantee”, “Armaggedeon Time” and my personal favourite which uncle Chim Tuna will be sharing in a jiffy.

And just who are the good folk bringing us this bastion of good reggae music? Well the Big Tunes Festival of Music is an event that celebrates conscious music with the aim of cataloguing the beauty and spirit of Africa and her people regardless of borders with reggae music as it’s core vehicle.
