Migingo island is once again hitting the headlines thanks to the action of Ugandan security forces. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) temporarily suspended the mass voter registration exercise in the disputed Migingo after Uganda police arrested its clerks and confiscated their Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits on Tuesday.
