The story of Bahati which spans for a period of 22 years is a demonstration of a boy who rose above all odds to shape his own destiny!
Bahati was born in Mathare slum and raised at a children’s home after his mother passed on. The 22 year old gospel singer unshackled himself from the pangs of poverty to carve a niche for himself in the lucrative but challenging music industry.
Today being throwback Thursday (TBT), we look at the life of Bahati while he was still living at a Children’s Home struggling to get someone to sponsor his education.
