Langata was all over the media after police led a raid in house there On 10^th Thursday March 2016 to stop an alleged Project X party.

Two days after the incident, a British woman of Indian origin hired assailants to kill her own husband in their house in Langata.

Trushna Asvinkumar Velan yesterday denied conspiring to kill her husband Asvinkumar Bhikhalal Velan at Swaminirayan estate in Langata, when she appeared in court.

The Briton is said to have hired hitmen whom she let into her house to murder her husband. Mr. Asvinkumar miraculously survived the incident and he’s now recuperating a City hospital.
