In Pictures: KU Sisters Who Perished In The Tragic Kisii Road Accident Are Laid To Rest

Vinnah Morangi, 21, and Valerie Wangari, 20, were killed in the fatal accident that occurred on the Kisii- Kilgoris road last week.

Vinnah was a third year Mass Communication student at Kenyatta University while Valerie was a first year student pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Education in the same varsity.

The body of the deceased were taken from Hema hospital mortuary yesterday and ferried to their home at Nyamataro village, Kitutu Chache South, Kisii County for an overnight stay.

Vinnah and Valerie were today laid to rest after a funeral service which was held at St Joseph’s Nyabururu grounds.

The deceased mother, Rachael Muthiga, is now left with a son only after she lost her two daughters in the tragic accident.
