The mother of three posted a black candle with the poignant message, “May my papa rest in peace. Oh death.” This immediately resonated with her followers, who flooded her comments section with comforting words.

Just months prior, in January, Massawe had shared joyful photos with her father, showing them in matching outfits and beaming with happiness. She captioned those images, “With my dad Mzee Massawe,” a post that now serves as a treasured memory of their close bond.

Massawe revealed that the flight she took home following her father’s passing was “the worst flight I had to take,” highlighting the emotional distress she experienced.
