But as he reveals in a candid article on Flawnt It, Mugambi Nthiga (of Nairobi Half-Life)has for the longest time struggled with a balding head, something that many would not know as he usually shaves his head clean.

He keeps the clean-shaven look because of the pressures of celebrity scrutiny where a celebrity is expected to look flawless and sexy all the damn time, even when you are tired.

And the trolling he got from kids (who can be pretty remorseless) as a young child further exacerbated his own insecurities. I mean it can’t be easy for a child to handle being called ‘Kipara Ngoto’.

Things did not get better as he got older with some people resorting to calling him ‘The Brown Megamind’ named after the most-brilliant super villain, Megamind.

So to maintain and image and avoid the trolls he resorted to visiting the barber plenty of times, even two times a week.

But no more, he unleashed his biggest insecurity in the blog and seemed petty hopeful about the future “Maybe I will embrace The Spot when I’m older and it’s evened out. Maybe I’ll be that guy who makes half-covered heads sexy, I don’t know. I’ll just say that I look forward to the day where it’s normal for me, and not something to consider in any negative light. Because these so called “flaws” are all in our heads.” he writes.
