Sonko Rescues Conjestina Achieng And Rewards Her With Cool Money As Her Upkeep (Photos)

Former champion Conjestina Achieng has been rotting away in her village in Siaya County but recent pleas to save her actually worked wonders.

Only a week ago the country was shocked when photos of Conje surfaced online showing how the former boxing champion was living in deplorable condition.

Well wisher started an initiative to rescue the former champion who represented the country in high profile fights.

Last weekend, Conje was among other professional boxers that attended Boxing Under The Stars at the Carnivore Grounds.

Sonko, Machackos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua, Hon. Goerge Theuri, Hon. Stephen Kariuki among other leaders we were at the Carnivore grounds to watch the fights.

The Nairobi Senator rewarded each boxer who participated with Ksh 20,000. Sonko gave Conjestina Kes 50,000 which he said was for her upkeep.
