Mpho Letsholonyane makes history
As the world watched the world cup finals in anticipation, Mpho Letsholonyane was breaking a record.
She is the first South African woman to present the FIFA World Cup finals.
Mpho took time to share her excitement.
“In 2013 when I moved from Randburg to Auckland Park, I was told that I should consider my career over…Today I became the 1st woman in Mzansi to host a FIFA World Cup Final on TV. Hard work and dedication pays off eventually. This day will go down as a HUGE highlight in my sporting career…Thank you to the SABC management who believed in me.
