FACTS ABOUT THE JINJA NILE BRIDGE

Thanks to a Japanese/ South Korean company, Zenitaka/Hyundai, we are seeing positive feed back on the South of the town. From what we hear, this station will contain a public toilet, restaurant, and supermarket. The bridge is also approximately 525 meters in length. It will be a four-lane, with a cable stay, and the first in the country.

It crosses, the river Nile, and provides a wonderful view of it, like the previous bridge. This bridge will replace the one commonly known as the Owen falls dam. It will be a major trade route to Mombasa, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo and the Center of Africa.

Our sources mention that by April 2018, the bridge will be completed, and various traffic accommodated.
