A Man is a Luxury, like Dessert- Media Girl, Toke Makinwa

Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, has revealed what she thinks getting herself a man meanS. This was in an Instagram post, where she spoke about being afraid of being happy. According to her, she has been through so much that happiness now scares her.

She, however, revealed that she has had so many almost moments. At such times, she had to listen to her spirit’s whisper, she said.

I’ve had so much crazy shit happen to me that being happy and in a place of peace almost scares me. I’ve had too many “almost” moments but then I heard the spirit whisper to me. Don’t judge my happy, I spent so long being sad, it’s my turn now’.

Takin to the comments section, however, one of her followers asked her to get herself a man. In response, the OAP noted that getting a man isn’t a necessity. It is rather a luxury, she said.

‘a man is not a necessity, a man is a luxury. Like desert’.
