After Performing With Nelly Furtado Kenyan Choir Now To Perform Alongside Kardinal Offishall!

Earlier last week The Boys Choir of Kenya jetted out of the country to Cananda to perform in a series of concerts on ‘We Day’ .

The ‘We Day’ is an annual youth empowerment event attended by thousands of students that is organized by Free The Children charity.The event was first held in 2007 and is now held in cities in the United States and Canada.The free the children network was founded by Craig Kielburger (A child rights activist ) and his brother, Marc.

The boys choir of Kenya dazzle

Dance Hall bigwig Kardinal Offishall,Hedley,Tyler Shaw and Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Martin Sheen will be joining the boys on stage.

The boys choir have also performed at Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009,later they got to perform with the “Promiscuous” singer Nelly Furtado at a We Day event.Speaking to Global Mail about their performances in We Day Events they had this to say Never before had we witnessed such a great and energetic audience. And to top it all off we got to perform with Nelly Furtado. That was the biggest thing that ever happened to any of us.”
