Are Kenyan Celebrities Daring Enough To Rock This Jaw-Dropping Outfit?(Photos)

A few days ago at the premier of Thor,29 year old actress Jamie Alexander hit the red carpet with a daring black dress with a sheer panel that left very little to the imagination.

The black floor length  dress offered  onlookers quite an eyeful of the actresses’ toned bod and Hollywood and the world’s attention was shifted for a while from Miley Cyrus’ antics.

This dress may come as a shock but Hollywood celebrities are very daring and willing to take red carpet dresses to a whole new level.So do i think Kenyan celebrities are daring enough to rock this jaw dropping outfit?No.This is because a large number of our celebrity play it safe when it comes to fashion, a lot of them prefer to have their red carpet moments with with bland lackluster frocks, a mind-numbing pair of jeans and boring hair.This should not be in any way taken as an attack to anyone,i just think it’s time Kenya made its mark not only through movies and music  but also through fashion,we have a lot of talented designers in Kenya so there is no need to go for Prada when we have the very talented Wambui Mukenyi!

I am not campaigning for a full-on-slut kind of outfit, but it would be nice if celebrities took a chance and marveled us when it comes to fashion on the red carpet.Get rid of the clichéd peplum dresses, bandage dresses, chiffon maxis and go for something more news worthy. Something that is unbelievably sexy keeping in mind you can be sexy without skimping on the fabric used to make the clothes. Take Lupita for example she is covered up but looks so damn good!
