Avril Summoned By Police

It seems this is a week of musicians and police. After the Redsan saga, Avril is the latest celebrity singer to find herself in the hands of the police.

The Najivunia Kuwa Mkenya singer was summoned to a police station, which she did not reveal, to record a statement.

This was after an imposter who has been using Avril’s name to collect money and other goodies from Kenyans was arrested and Avril was required to record a statement with the police.

In her Facebook post, Avril says she was full of mixed emotions, sad and happy at the same time. Sad because the young man used his energy in the wrong way and happy because at last the imposter had been arrested.
