Cartoonist Gado Takes A Swipe At DP William Ruto

Caricaturist Gado’s daily dose of editorial cartoon is out! In today’s illustration, the social critic has hit out at Deputy President, William Ruto, over the recent events that surround the office of the DP.

On Sunday, it emerged that the DP’s official residence in Karen was set to undergo a face-lift that would cost the taxpayer KShs. 100 million; and this is what Gado takes issue with as he portrays in the photo below;

It’s not the first time for the cartoonist to take issue with WSR’s “lavish spending” that cost the common man millions of shillings in his highly artistic, hyperbolic and satirical caricatures. Recently Gado did a caricature that left female MPs up in arms and even prompted the DP to move to seek legal redress.

Let’s see how much dust this one will raise…
