Celebrated Musician Exposes Her Materialistic Nature
The public normally rates musicians according to what they give back, first in terms of music and then other things like their level of philanthropy and social life in general. But have you ever seen a musician not giving her music career the very first priority and instead put money first before the music itself?
The definite answer could be a ‘yes’ accompanied with a ‘but’. However, one philosopher said that anything that comes after the word BUT is meaningless and consequently, useless.
Here is a funny case within our territories; closer home than we have never thought before. AMANI, yes Amani, the very prominent, celebrated and perennial Kenyan Musician of our time has dropped a bombshell.
She is one of the most celebrated musicians in the Kenyan music industry but it seems over the years she has been in the industr, she has learnt a bitter lesson which has rendered her careless in the choice of words and materialistic in nature.
In her twitter account, Amani dropped what initially looked like just a tweet but when keenly analysed, leaves so much room for speculation.
She tweeted:

This is the last thing fans expect from their favourite entertainer.
Does it mean that Amani has given up on giving her best? Or, is it that over the years Amani has learnt that Kenyans are an ungrateful lot?
Are Kenyans so unappreciative that Amani can’t find the motivation to produce the best music like she has in the years before?
Has Amani realised that with good or bad music Kenyans still foke out cash from their pockets to purchase and pay for performances?
These and many more questions are now on the lips of many Kenyans who have faithfully followed Amani’s music over years.
