We are all aware that Citizen TV’s senior reporter and anchor and the brains behind “Truth Meter” Willis Raburu had attended a journalism fellowship at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta, USA.
This came a few months after being elevated to the post of an anchor on Kenya’s leading TV station.
Willis, the son of former renowned PC during Moi’s era, Pastor Peter Raburu joined this coveted fellowship that was launched in 1988 by CNN founder Ted Turner. More than 800 journalists, from 123 countries and 207 news organizations have participated in this highly sought after program since its inception.
While there he got exposed to thins such as Insight into every aspect of CNN production including:International desk deployments,Multi-platform newsgathering and reporting and Futures and special events planning.
