Davido Speaks on the Reasons why he and Wizkid Ended their Age Long Beef

Apparently, Davido and Wizkid finally let maturity set in.

It is no news that singers, Davido and Wizkid, until recently, were sworn enemies in the industry. Though their reconciliation was a thing of joy to so many people, as some have always prayed for it to happen.

What has remained unclear, however, is the reason(s) why they both decided to move on, when they did.

In an interview with Native Magazine, Davido has given the reasons why his beef ended with Wizkid.

According to him, it was getting old.

It just got to a point where we just thought, this shit is getting old. I mean, it got physical between our camps. We just wanted to make the relationship mutual.

He has three kids, I have two kids. I’ve traveled a lot, I have experienced so much more in life, I have two artists that are doing well. Like, this shit is old bro, we’re not getting any younger, he said.

Recall that the singers shocked their fans last year when they both stepped on stage to perform one of their songs at one of their concerts.
