Demi-Leigh Reflects On Her Miss Universe Journey

Outgoing Miss Universe Demi-Leigh recently took time to reflect on her journey as Miss Universe. She took to social media to celebrate the anniversary of the day she took home the crown.

She shared a video from that night a year ago writing: “On this day a year ago my life changed forever. What a defining and life changing moment it was being crowned Miss Universe 2017. Forever grateful to everyone who believed in me and my dreams just as much as I did. South Africa, thank you for trusting me to represent you. I’m still in awe of God’s grace and the surprises he blesses us with.”

On the 17th of December, Demi-Leigh will hand over her crown to her successor at the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Thailand.
