Did Octopizzo Use Crooked Means to Top Itunes Charts? He Speaks Out

Last week the whole country was talking about Octopizzo after his new album LDPC made a news-worthy Debut on Itune’s chart.

It was the second most popular Album on iTunes after Compton by Dre and the only other album that could compete was Dr Thomas by Eric Thomas.

His fans and friends took to Twitter, made calls and even DMd him to congratulate him on this feat, but just like in all victories there is always a flock of naysayers to rain on your parade.

The worrywarts claimed that Octopizzo bought his own albums, something which is technically impossible. In an interview with Ghafla, Octo responded with this to claims he had bought his own album

“It’s not possible .Si kama Nakumatt where I can go and by 100,000 copies. If it was possible I would do it.” he said urging his critics to educate themselves “Endeeni shule.Nimetop  chart itakuuma but hauna otherwise. Tulitop chart because people were clicking on the album, different people all across the world.”

He says that the reason his album performed so well is that he urged his friends, fans all over the world, politicians, ambassadors and even his siblings to go ahead and buy.
