Did You Know That Gospel Artist Daddy Owen Used A Toothbrush For The First Time in Form 1?

My cousin once told me that when God blesses you He doesn’t rehearse; and I now I agree with him. Looking at Gospel artist Daddy Owen who would ever imagine that the first time he used a toothbrush was when he joined high school as a freshman? The multiple CHAT & Groove Award winner has however risen above that to become one of the biggest artists in the region.

‘Papa Fololo’ who is also a disability-rights activist and MTV-MAMA Award winner 2010 has shared with us some of the things that very many people know about him. Take a look;

1. Together with a couple of friends started a Gospel Magazine called “Ignite” but never made it to the intented audience due lack of funds.
2. The first time he used a toothbrush was in Form 1. He had been using eucalyptus tree branch to clean his teeth.
3. He never took any photo for the entire four years in High School.
4. Daddy Owen hates mosquitoes.
5. He once performed abroad as Rufftone and even pocketed the proceeds. He had not seen the light then though.
6. Daddy Owen’s first name was “Street Doctor”.
7. He has a condition called anaphylaxis; allergic to milk.
8. Daddy Owen does not know how to swim.
9. He does not know how to ride a bicycle (despite being a Luhya – no offence my peeps from Western).
10. Daddy Owen hates flying.
