Disturbing Video of Boniface Mwangi Getting Brutally Beaten To A Pulp By Police Officers

In this age of smart phones, it is dumb to think that you can get away with atrocities committed in public because among the spectators there is always someone taping the whole innocence.

For example the Embassava stripping caught on Camera that led to arguably the biggest protest in Kenya ‘My Dress My Choice’, the assault in a Githurai bound matatu that led to the arrest of the perpetrators. The smart phone has become the only voice the common mwananchi has; because ones something goes online it causes such a huge pandemonium that those in charge of justice can no longer bury their head in the sand.

Yesterday, Boniface Mwangi was severely assaulted by some men in Uniform, presumably A.P and gave him such a thunderous whacking; you could hear the ring in your ears. The reason for this assault was because Boniface Mwangi had attempted to record an exchange between him and the two guards.

This was what happened as narrated by Boniface “An argument ensued and l decided to record the conversation, that’s when all hell broke loose. He tried to snatch my phone, l stepped back and he started assaulting me. They arrested and took me to the County basement cells. 5 more officers joined them as they dragged, kicked and tore my shirt, sweater, and trousers. They proceeded to beat me up thoroughly. They confiscated phone and deleted what I had recorded earlier. “

Here is video footage of the beating:
