DJ Kaytrixx’s Inspiring Rags To Riches Story

Grass to grace, rags to riches stories really inspire me .They are an indication that if the dream is big the facts do not count,it does not matter if you are dirt poor all you need is hard work and the determination to succeed and you will achieve great things.

Kaytrixx’s rags to riches story is inspiring,he takes us a walk down memory lane where he says:

‘I remember when all I had was just a spoon, plate and a mattress. Hehe. Hii Nairobi ni noma lakini ya Mungu ni mengi.’

The guy who had a spoon, plate and a mattress is now an award winning DJ.He won 2 consecutive chaguo la teeniez awards for best Tv show Dj in 2010 and 2011 and in 2012 won 3 chaguo la teeniez awards for “Teeniez Spin Master”, “Teeniez TV VJ” and “Teeniez TV music mix show”. In September 2013 Won the “Stylus Dj Awards” for “Diaspora Dj of the year”.

In addition to winning awards, he is also one of the “7” Niko Na Safaricom Live 2013

He is aslo a  co-host and Live VDJ of a multi award winning TV show“str8 up live” and works at Homeboyz Radio as a DJ and a Radio Presenter and owns a clothing line called “Hangover_254”.
