Does acting really pay? Checkmate tells all

You might be familiar with the best beat boxer, and basically the only one that’s famous for it here in Kenya, Checkmate Mido. This is a man of many talents as he has proven both on and off the set.

being an actor, poet and at the same time, a beat boxer, this artiste comes with the full package. We recently had the opportunity to have a one on one with this talented individual who has had a couple of shows at the Kenya National Theatre and The Kwani Open Mic.
