DPP Saves Ugandan Singer Accused Of Being In Possession Of Stolen Electronics Belonging To Fred Omondi Of Hapa Kule News

Sometime back, Fred Omondi of Hapa Kule News was robbed at gunpoint by armed gunmen who stole his electronics. Ugandan singer was arrested after police found him in possession Fred Omondi’s stolen valuables.

Wycliffe Wamala popularly known as Ambassada has been battling to prove his innocence ever since he was apprehended by the cops possessing a stolen iPad belonging to Fred Omondi.

The Ugandan born singer claimed he bought the iPad from a Whatsapp group but his plea wasn’t enough to stop the police from locking him in a Rongai Police Station.

That was way back in February. The court hadn’t concluded his case since the prosecution hadn’t garnered enough evidence to charge him.

It’s as a result of this that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) withdrew the charges against the Ugandan.

A warrant of arrest had initially been issued against Ambassada for failure to honor court summons.
