Ebola Paranoia Aside; Jamaican Reggae Heartthrob is Coming to Kenya

This year alone has seen a conglomeration of international artistes flying into the country for various shows and Jamaican reggae artiste Freddie McGregor too has a date with Kenya.

Despite the outbreak of Ebola wrecking havoc mostly in West African nations; many international performing artistes seem to generalize the whole of Africa as an Ebola hotspot thus daring not to perform in African countries. But Jamaican Freddie McGregor has opted to ignore all the paranoia associated with the deadly virus to plan a Kenyan visit.

The veteran singer intends to visit the country on November 29 to entertain the country’s reggae enthusiasts. His move to defy the Ebola fears is likely to be motivated by the fact that his country too is also hit by chikungunya virus that has swept Jamaica in the past few months leaving hundreds of people sick; there is no evidence of Ebola presence in Kenya so why wouldn’t Freddie McGregor come to the country?
