Embarrassment Galore: Retired President Moi’s Grandson Arrested And Charged For Stealing Two Mobile Phones Belonging To His Daughter And Her Friend (Photos)
A daughter reporting her dad to police for stealing her phone!!! This is an interesting family feud given that the dad in question is retired President Moi’s grandson.
When the name Moi is mention the first few things that cross your mind are power, wealth and social influence.
Retired President Moi’s grandson, Collins Toroitich Moi, yesterday appeared before chief magistrate David Kemei at Nakuru Law court where he was charged for stealing two mobile phones belonging to his daughter, May Chelimo, and her friend, Betty Chebet.
Apparently Moi’s kin stole the said phones while at a meeting at a hotel in Showground area of Nakuru town.
Collins denied the charge explaining that he had confiscated the phones from his daughter and her friend but later returned them.
Collins’ defense argued that May Chelimo’s mother had put-up her daughter and her friend to ‘fix’ Moi’s grandson because she was a jilted lover.
Collins was released on a Kes 20,000 bond waiting the mentioning of his case on August 15th.
