Former Miss SA Jo-Ann Strauss is pregnant

Jo-Ann Strauss has announced her third pregnancy with two beautiful photos on Instagram.

She said she has been keeping a low profile because of “debilitating” morning sickness.

In one of the posts, she says, “Excited to say that we are expanding our family in 2018. Hence my social media inactivity for the past few weeks. Been down with debilitating morning sickness 24 hours a day. Hopefully it’ll get better soon, but grateful for the blessing of having another little angel.”

In another post, the former Miss South Africa shows off her baby bump.

Jo-Ann is known for her mommy advice on her blog, Modern Mommy. She opens up about the difficulties she faces as a working mother.

Jo-Ann is married to Michael Held. They have two older children, a boy and a girl.

Of her older children she says seeing life through their eyes is a blessing.

“The most incredible blessing is to see life through their eyes. Free of fear, judgement, prejudices. Become a child again yourself as often as you can.”
