Freak Accident: Huge Tree Crashes 5 To Death In A Nakuru-Bound Prestige Shuttle In Kangemi Area (Photos)

So sad indeed! The accident in Kagemi yesterday evening is still the talk of the nation!

Five people were killed when a huge tree fell on a matatu and a motorbike in Kangemi area late yesterday.

The huge old tree which is said to have loose roots fell on a Prestige Shuttle matatu which was leaving the city heading to Nakuru.

The deceased were killed on impact while other passengers suffered injuries. Residents and the police had difficult time pulling passengers out of the smashed matatu.

The injured were rushed to nearby Kikuyu hospital. The accident created a huge traffic snarl up along the busy Nairobi-Nakuru highway.
