Georgina Njenga Embraces Sobriety Journey As She Regains Her Kilograms
Content creator and influencer Georgina Njenga has publicly announced she’s on a path to sobriety, marking a significant personal transformation that follows a month-long social media hiatus.
The mother of one revealed she has successfully completed over a month of alcohol detox, a decision she shared openly with her followers. Celebrating 43 days of sobriety with a goal of 90, Njenga highlighted some of the most noticeable changes, including weight gain.
Njenga shared that she’s gained 10 kilograms, making her the heaviest she’s been since her post-pregnancy weight loss. She hinted that this weight gain was a deliberate outcome of her new lifestyle. It’s common for individuals who quit alcohol to experience positive bodily changes, such as improved metabolism and reduced hunger.
Acknowledging her fans’ previous concerns about her weight, Njenga noted that she’s taken their advice to heart.
“Since you all complained about my weight 10kgs added. Day 43/90 sober too,” she wrote, adding playful emojis to her announcement. The YouTuber has also asked her followers what new content they’d like to see, signaling a shift from her previous content style.\
Georgina is currently co-parenting with her baby daddy Tyler Mbaya; with whom they sired a daughter with. Her sudden weight loss was linked to their break-up; where followers claimed she was stressed out following her split with Tyler.
However, Georgina is now re-gaining her weight as she embraces her sobriety journey.
