Ebony Was The Modern Day Version Of Myself – MzBel

Sensational hiplife artiste,  Nana Akua Amoah, best known as MzBel has stated that the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns was the modern day version of her.

The ‘Akuah’ singer made this comment in a recent interview with the Graphic Showbiz newspaper.

According to her she will remember the ‘Date Ur Fada’ artiste for her bubbly smile and her being a genuine person.

“She was genuine, she was so real and I would say she was the modern day MzBel. She came as a queen and died as a queen.” Stated MzBel.

Short Bio on Ebony Reigns;

Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Agyemang was a budding dancehall artiste. She was known for releasing hit after hit songs in succession. She scooped several awards barely two years of being in the music industry.

Some of her hit songs are; Hustle, Maame Hw3, Date Ur Fada, Sponsor among others.

Unfortunately, she lost her life in a gory accident on the Kumasi–Sunyani road on February 8, 2018. She was in the company of three others, her driver, friend, Franky Kuri and bodyguard, Francis Atsu Vondee.

All passengers perished with the exception of the driver when their car collided with a VIP bus. They were returning to Accra after paying a short visit to Ebony’s mother in Sunyani.She was finally laid to rest at the Osu cemetery on March, 24, 2018.

Strongman has a girlfriend and a very beautiful one as such. Her name is Wilma Nana Ama. Nana Ama’s strong love for her ‘boo’ has made her add his name, Strong to hers. So just call her Nana Ama Strong when you meet her.
These two have been in a relationship for a while now.  From their love displayed on social media, we can deduce that Nana Ama Strong, is not only one beautiful girl but also very supportive of her boyfriend. You won’t be far from comparing them to Sarkodie and Tracy. No wonder he’s signed onto the Sarkcess Music label. She’s very supportive of him that she helps him promote his music. Plus they’re always literally everywhere together. 3Music Awards Organisers Incurred Gh200,000 Debt After Maiden Edition

The maiden edition of 3Music Awards happened at the Fantasy Dome in Accra on March 24.

However, the organizers need to balance the accounts.

Furthermore, the organisers are in big trouble because of a Gh200,000 debt after the event.

3Music Awards explanation behind debt

The boss of 3music Network, organisers of the show, Sadiq Abdulai, stated that they didn’t make a dime.

He made these statement on Zylofon FM.

Moreover, they lost Gh200, 000 after organising the first edition of 3Music Awards.

Mr. Abdulai Abu explained how they accrued the cost. Firstly, he mentioned no sponsorship as a major factor in the loss.

Also, he paid for logistics and performance fee of artistes billed on the night. Although he had no external support.

Sadiq continued that majority of the patrons at the event had complimentary tickets. Therefore, he generated little from gate proceeds.

Even though he run at a loss, Sadiq Abdulai Abu thanked Ghanaians for the love they showed. According to him, the attendance that evening gave him a fulfillment and that almost made him cry.

Artistes who performed at the show hosted by rapper D-Black and actress Joselyn Dumas were Stonebwoy, Obibini, Teephlow, Joyce Blessing, Joe Mettle, Sista Afia, Gallaxy, Kumi Guitar, Kurl Songx, Ex-Doe, Chicago, others.

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy was on the bill to perform at the Zylofon Cash Activation Concert. However, he failed to show up to perform.

Moreover, many people state that it’s a war declaration on Zylofon Media. Nobody knows the reason behind his no-show.

The Zylofon Cash Activation concert happened at the Victoria Park in Aflao on Easter Sunday. Furthermore, both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were on the bill.

Despite enormous promotion indicating that the two rivals Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy would perform at the event.

However, Stonebwoy was nowhere to be found on the d-day.

Furthermore, Stonebwoy was in the Volta Region, receiving a rousing welcome in Sogakope.

Arrest And Torture Ebony’s Driver, That’s The Only Way He’ll Confess – Osofo Obotuo

Some believe that accidents do happen and are ubiquitous, hence matters should be laid to rest as she’s already gone.

Others on the other hand believe that there’s a mystery behind the accident and eventually her death. These people  are therefore of the view that the police needs to carry out further investigations for justice to prevail.

Especially considering the fact that the vehicle she was traveling with was damaged beyond recognition. And also that all the other occupants in the car died except the driver, who escaped with just a minor injury.

We’re talking about none other than the late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku Agyemang.

It’s in line with this that the Leader and Founder of ‘In Him Is Life Church International’ (I.H.I.L.C.I.), Rev. Isaac Opoku popularly known as Sofo Obotuo is calling on the police to with immediate effect arrest Ebony’s driver.

Sofo Obotuo strongly opines that the mere fact that driver escaped without any severe injuries in the accident that claimed three lives makes him a major suspect.

He further stated that all the prophecies surrounding Ebony’s death are fake. Adding that her death only boils down to carelessness of the driver.

Osofo Obotuo made these comments in an interview on Kofi TV. He further asserted that the driver should therefore be arrested and tortured. According to him, that’s the only way he(the driver) will confess for the truth to come to light. Osofo Obotuo therefore insists that Ebony’s driver should be arrested and interrogated.

According to him;

“Let’s not dwell on the prophecies to let some people who acted carelessly go free. The driver should be arrested.

He is a primary suspect. Even the one who was seated behind you died; not even a scar on your skin. It’s either he has a spiritual backing or he opened the gate and jumped off…

It is possible someone paid him to kill Ebony. Who recorded Vicky Hammah and leaked the tape? Was it not her driver?” …he asked.

If the driver is arrested and tortured, we will get the real story of Ebony’s death than the so-called prophecies.

Whoever claims to have prophesied Ebony’s death should be arrested and interrogated. It is high time we did that. All the prophecies are false…

I’m saying so because what would they have said if Ebony were in Japan? God reveals to redeem so you even don’t need to tell the person. You can intercede. It is your job.” He said.

 

Bisa kdei To Release ‘Connect’ Album In April

Awards-winning Highlife artiste and producer Bisa Kdei is set to drop his latest album dubbed ‘Highlife Connect’ on Saturday April 21, 2018.

‘Highlife Connect’ which becomes his third since his career in music is packed with 15 tracks. The album was recorded by himself and different sound engineers including Jose, Mix Master Garzy, CJ and Dr. Ray.

Bisa has already released a couple songs from the album titled ‘Feeling’ and ‘Faakye’. These songs are already doing well in the market and receiving massive airplay. Other songs from the album include ‘Hammer’, ‘Bra’, ‘1934’, ‘Dome Bi’, ‘Wo sika nti’ and others. ‘Feeling’ and ‘Faakye’ are few of the songs on the album that are doing well in the market and receiving massive airplay.

The album is a blend of local and international artistes such as Reekado Banks, Patoranking among others. According to Bisa, he is looking forward to reach other parts of the globe with his music.

Bisa Kdei has for sometime now been criticized by a section of his fans for being ‘ slow’ or inactive in the industry.

But in response, the ‘Mansa’ hitmaker had stated that ” It is wrong for anyone to say that. ”

He explained that “Highlife music stays forever so I need to take my time and work on it. I disagree with anyone who says I am slow because I am really working.”

However, he is optimistic that 2018 is going to be a great year for him.

Born Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah, he is the first Ghanaian musician and second African musician to be verified on Facebook. Bisa Kdei is also the first Ghanaian artiste to break into the limelight with a movie sound track (Azonto Ghost).

He has treated fans and all highlife music lovers over the years since his inception in the music industry in 2012.
Some of his hit songs include; Brother Brother, Mansa, azonto ghost, Life, Odo carpenter, Metanfo, apae, Sister girl, 6 Strings etc.

He won big at the vodafone Ghana music awards in 2016 when he won awards for Highlife artiste of the year, highlife Song of the year and Most popular song of the year.

3Music Awards Boss Threatens To Sue Kwesi Arthur Over No-Show

Organizers of the recently held 3Music Awards chase fast-rising rapper, Kwesi Arthur. Moreover, they need a refund of their money. This is because he [Kwesi Arthur] failed to appear and perform at the 2018 3Music Awards.

Furthermore, Kwesi Arthur was on the bill to perform at the event. However, he failed to appear after the money was paid into his account.

Also, efforts by organizers of the events to get their money are futile.

As part of the deal, Kwesi Arthur was paid Ghc4,000 as a part payment of the amount charged. However, he failed to honour his part of the bargain. Also, he performed at another event in Accra on the same night.

Reportedly, the boss of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai vows to go all out. This is in order for the young musician cough back his hard-earned money.

Also, from a comment by Sadiq Abdulai on Facebook, Kwesi Arthur maybe slapped with a lawsuit. This is if he fails to refund the money.

No label Meets My Criteria Yet – Kofi Kinaata

Almost four months after Hiplife artiste, Kofi Kinaata parted ways with High Grade Record label, he has still not joined any other label yet.

Although the ‘Confession’ hitmaker has claimed that he has been approached by not less than 10 individuals and record labels.
However, according to him, none of them has been able to meet his demands leaving him still label-less.

“The brand Kofi Kinaata is big and I need a record label or individual who will lift my brand to the next level and not bring it down. That is why I have had to turn those who approached me down,”  he said in a recent interview on Showbiz.

Kofi Kinaata had earlier divulged in an interview on Showbiz shortly after his exit from the High Grade family that he needed a serious manager who would take his brand to higher heights. He however insisted that is still his number one priority.

“All I demand is someone who can get me good deals and take me international,” he said.

Kinaata said as much as he wants to be signed on he will not rush and make the mistake of signing onto just any record label.

In response to what his biggest regret is since he started music, Kofi Kinaata revealed that it is featuring on a bad song.

“Sometimes the comments I hear when I feature on a bad song gets to me so much that I wish I had never collaborated with the artiste,” he said

Kinaata also revealed that as part of his plans for this year, he is working at addressing criticisms from his fans. Adding that though he is at the same time combining this with his studio works.

“Some of the complaints are that I don’t shoot a lot of music videos, stage concerts and sing for the ladies.
I personally sang ‘Sweetie Pie’ for the ladies and staged the ‘Made In Taadi concert’ because the complaints were becoming too much,” he noted.

“Now I am working on shooting a lot of music videos just to satisfy them”, he added.

Pastor Persuades Church Member To Marry A ‘Married’ Rich Man For The Sake Of …..

It is  common and normal for a young single woman to seek for the views of her Pastor about the man she intends to spend the rest of her life with.

It becomes more important when that woman is also not only a church member but an active participant in church activities.

For a woman who is a singer in her church, the views of her pastor are very important to her. Pastors/Prophets are a part of the spiritual lives of most Christians. As such, their views matter a lot when it comes to issues relating to some members of their church.

But the question is how far and on what issues in ones life must he/she confide in a pastor ? Or yet still, will you allow your pastor to determine the man/woman you should spend the rest of your life with?

Well, a Ghanaian lady has shared her story with relationship expert David Papa Bondze-Mbir  on Facebook on how  her spiritual father hurried her into marrying the ‘wrong man’. And for what? Just because he(the pastor) was benefiting from the man financially.
According to the lady whose identity has been kept secret, her ‘spiritual father’ never accepted any of the men she introduced to him. Instead, he’ll drive them away by saying that they are not men God wants her to marry.

However, this same pastor and her spiritual father one day introduced her to a rich man who had paid the church a visit from overseas.

According to the lady, the pastor persuaded her to marry the said man which she obeyed, considering the fact that she thought he always wanted the best for her.

Only for her to find out later that the man, who is now her husband is married to a British woman with whom he lives with abroad. As if that was not enough, she only get to see her own husband twice every year. To top it all up, she’s currently staying in one of the man’s houses with her frail mother-in-law whom she’s taking care of. She states that this very woman knows what his son is doing but pretends not to know.

Hi Dave. This is my story. My spiritual father is my head Pastor. I helped the Church a lot with my singing. Daddy preferred I sang for him before he preached.He loved me as a daughter, and always wanted the very best for me. He became a huge influence in my life, I realized I wasn’t able to even date any man he hadn’t approved of. He had a negative vision of any man I introduced to him as a potential boyfriend. I was patient till my 28th birthday, when this rich guy from London, visited us for a month. His mother is a member of the Church, so he just came with her. To cut the long story short, the man was in a process of separating from his wife (that was the story he fed us) and wished he could marry a decent lady. Daddy told me he was the one meant for me, and persuaded me into accepting him as a friend. Within a week, the guy wanted us to be intimate, because he was leaving the country the following week. I refused him s*x.We kept in touch when he returned to the UK. On the 23rd of April, 2013, he asked for my hand in marriage. He confirmed his divorce to his first wife.

He has a big house in Accra, so that’s where I am staying right now, with his mother. I am taking care of his aged mother, Dave. All his siblings are outside of Ghana.I only get to see him, twice every year. And he stays for just a month. A friend of mine in the UK tells me he is still married to his British wife. He has been paying so much offering through Western Union money transfer to my Pastor. He’s bought the pastor a car. He invites him to London, but not me.

 I am just quiet and watching all of them. His mother knows what’s going on but she’s refusing to also open up to me because she has no one to take care of her in that big house. I fell in love with him, that’s why I married him.”

Sarkodie Escapes Accident

Sarkodie survives.

Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie escaped an accident. Furthermore, according to videos footage on social media, the rapper was involved in a car accident.

This happened in the Ashanti Region today.

Moreover, the rapper was on his way to Asante Akyem Agogo for a show. The show was with legendary highlife artiste, Amakye Dede on Easter Monday, when the unfortunate happened.

However, the rapper survived unharmed. Therefore, a different car in good condition took him away.

Moreover, he continued his journey to Agogo for the event. A thankful Sarkodie tweeted “Touch down Agogo” showing gratitude with an emoji!

Recently, he released a song titled ‘Wake Up Call’ campaigning against road accident.

Zylofon Media stormed Volta Region on Sunday March 1, 2018 with its Zylofon Cash Activation Concert which took place at the Victoria Park, Aflao.

Among the artists that thrilled the mammoth crowd are Edem, Dhat Gyal. Other artists signed unto Zylofon Media such as Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Becca also thrilled the crowd. The BHIM Nation Boss, Stonebwoy failed to show up though.

However, his arch rival and label mate, Shatta Wale was there and as usual, delivered an electrifying performance.

There was a little set back when he mounted the platform though, but Shatta Wale went on to give one of his best performances in history.

Miss Universe Ghana 2017, Ruth Quashie Enstooled As Nkosuohemaa

Ruth Quashie gets a new title.

Miss Universe Ghana, 2017 Ruth Quarshie was enstooled Nkosuohemaa. Furthermore, it was in her hometown Ejumako Ntumire in the Central region.

Her enormous contribution to her village was the reason behind the honorable title. Also, using her title as a Beauty Queen to unite the Chiefs in the community.

Moreover, Ruth united the Top 10 Miss Universe Ghana 2017 contestants  weeks ago to embark on the “QUEENS ANGEL” project.

Furthermore, this is a cause to help raise clothing, foodstuffs and assorted items for the less privileged in her village.

However, she became the first Nkosuohemaa of the town of Ejumako Ntumire at the time of the donation.

During a colorful durbar, the elders of the community announced Quashie as the Nkosuohemaa.

Ruth Quashie took the opportunity to thank the Chiefs and people of Ejumako Ntumire for their unflinching support and love.

Furthermore, she pleaded for the Leaders to stay united for the betterment of the community.

Fancy Gadam’s Boys Mercilessly Throb A Young Man Over Facebook Insults

There’s always someone who’s following a celebrity though he/she might not necessarily be a fan or even like that celeb.

A very typical characteristic of such people is that they end up insulting the celebrity whether they do good or bad.

Usually, these people ‘clash’ with fans of these celebrities and it always ends with exchange of ‘jabs’ and ‘insults’.

The genesis and end of all these feud mostly ends on social media though. However, tables have turned and the feud has now escalated outside social media.

This was the case of one man identified as Fuseini Hamza Zio.

Fuseini Hamza Zio is noted to be a loud-mouthed Tamale-based facebook user who has been “on top” of Fancy Gadam with social media insults.

However, luck eluded him when Gadam Nation (Fancy Gadam’s crew) caught up with him at a wedding reception over the weekend and gave him the beatings of his life.

According to a story sighted on MYNEWSGH.com, the beating was so fierce and physical that Fuseini Hamza Zio has been hospitalized at the West Hospital in Tamale.

Some eyewitness reports were also quoted as:

Supporters of Fancy Gadam beat up one person over attacks on facebook
was there at the wedding reception personally. I witness it. It was sad. I saw them beating the guy Only to realize that they were beating him just because he insulting them on facebook. This is so so not right!”, the eyewitness said.

Social media reacted to the news with others giving some versions of the incident: “Zio insulted Asward and even told him to meet up so they can fight and Asward J Bro gave him one slap which landed him in a hospital. I won’t sit back and watch a kid who can’t even match up to me insult my big bro never. He started the personal attack but you guys crying saint never saw the need to condemn him”.

Another social media user posted: “The only reason they gave was that the guy insulted them on facebook. I was there at the wedding reception. It was sad. How can you stack (sic) someone physically just because the person insulted you on facebook?? Aarrhhh!!!”

Another one also stated: “Bro that’s why I said this thing has to be solved no matter what. Most of all the two gates have been doing that Fb. Dissing. Some even do it to an extent of going deeper into ones personality. But it should be solved no matter what”.

But one Gadam Nation member warned that anyone who jokes with their ‘Star’ will equally receive his/her share of their wrath;

“And who is afraid of war, this is just the beginning, any body who gives false info about our Artist he will receive his share”.

Tamale showbiz in undoubtedly dominated by the rivalry between Fancy Gadam, the Total Cheat hitmaker with Sarkodie on one hand; and Macassio the Dagomba girl banger musician with R2Bees on the other hand.

However, reports reveals that the current incident has no direct link with the rivalry that is helping Tamale showbiz grow if it remains healthy and respectful.

Since the death of their beloved daughter and Ghana’s dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, many Ghanaians have wished that the two would let their daughter’s death re-unite.

A few days ago, it was widely reported that, Ebony’s mother, Beatrice Oppong had hinted of a possible re-union with her ex husband.

But Aunty B, as she’s affectionately called debunked such reports stating that she never made such a statement. According to her, a radio presenter rather pleaded with her to consider going back to Nana Opoku Kwarteng.

Nana Opoku’s responds to the rumors;

However, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late Ebony has also responded to the rumors.

According to Nana Opoku, at the time they are separated and therefore no longer married.

However, only time would tell if he would reunite with his former wife, he added.

Nana Opoku made these comments in an interview with KOFI TV.

Ebony lost her life on February 8, 2018, when she was involved in an accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road. Two others, Franky Kuri, her childhood friend and Francis Vondee, a military man, also lost their lives with her.

Ebony was buried on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Accra.

Moreover, her birthday is on April Fool’s Day.

Berla Mundi is currently with Bola Ray’s EIB Network. Also, she is the co-host of Starr Drive on Starr FM and host of ‘The Late Afternoon show’ on GhOne TV.

Nana Kweku Bonsam Names Daughter After Shatta Wale

Famous Ghanaian fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has named his newborn baby girl after controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

The newborn baby girl, her father reveals was born on Thursday and goes by the name, Yaa Bonsam Shatta.

According to Nana Kweku Bonsam, that will be her name for all official documents.

The Kofi oo Kofi priest in an interview with SeancityGh stated that his love for Shatta Wale and his music influenced the decision to name his child after him.

A section of the public considers Nana Kwaku Bonsam and Shatta Wale as two of the most controversial personalities in Ghana. They have always been making headlines in the media for controversies.

Not long ago, Shatta Wale in a recorded video was praising Kwaku Bonsam. According to him, Nana Bonsam is one of the most powerful men in Ghana.

He added that Kwaku Bonsam told him he will be winning a great award in the United States.

A year later, he(Shatta Wale) was honored at the IRAWMA in the US, just some few days ago.
