Ghanaian comedian, DKB is angry with a colleague comedian known as AugustinDennis. Moreover, this is because he sent certain texts.

In the series of Whatsapp messages from DKB to Augustine, he makes the point that he won’t warn him again. Also, he revealed Augustin constantly disrespected him. Therefore, he felt it was time to put him in his place and make him understand that he is no pushover.

Furthermore, DKB told Augustin that if he continues to move in the same line of getting on his bad side, he will report him to the police. He again emphasized through his messages that if his colleague thinks his messages was one of his many jokes, then he (Dennis) is a very terrible comedian.

Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats musician, Mr. Eazi talks about GHAMRO. Moreover, he questioned whether the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) actually gives the royalties due Ghanaian musicians to them. This is after he received a bill of about GH5000 from the organization for his recent ‘Detty Rave Concert’.

Furthermore, he took to Instagram to ask certain pertinent questions.

“The Ghamro monies I hope dem actually dey take give the artists!!! Dear artist have you ever received performance royalties?”.

A lot of people agreed with him about the practice of GHAMRO. This is because of the constant taking of monies from people does not pay the appropriate royalties to Ghanaian musicians.

Samini released the 22-track album in December 2018. However, this is currently on the 8th position of Billboard’s top 10 Reggae albums and songs. Furthermore, this beats albums such as “Reggae Gold 2018: 25th Anniversary” by Various artists and Ziggy Marley’s “ Rebellion Rises” album.

The album is strictly a Reggae album. Also, it is Samini’s 7th studio album and took a 3-year period to be produced.

Hollywood star, Boris Kodjoe together with some of celebrity friends visited the children’s ward of FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital near Pantang

Moreover, the visit was part of efforts by Boris to mobilize support for the FOCOS Hospital. The hospital is on a mission to bring quality orthopaedic care to deprived populations in Africa and around the world.

Boris Kodjoe is an ambassador for the non-profit specialist Orthopedic hospital. Therefore, he wanted his friends to have a first-hand experience of the facility that has treated over 55,000 patients from 45 countries and conducted 3,000 complex spine surgeries since its inception.

Earlier this year, Boris and his wife Nicole, visited the hospital and interacted with staff and paediatric patients.

Boris announced his visit to Ghana and the FOCOS Hospital on social media a couple of weeks ago. He and his friends will be visiting Ghana to meet the people, feel the culture, connect with the energetic heritage, relax on the beaches, tour the castles and share their experience the with millions of their followers around the world

The Central Assemblies of God Church at Tema Community 4 ended their year on a bad note. This is because assailants stabbed the Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado to death during church service.

According to StarrFMonline, the assailant attacked him while he prepared to leave his inner office to the main church auditorium to preach as Service was ongoing.

Moreover, his nephew allegedly attacked him in his office. Members of the church rushed him to a nearby medical facility for treatment. However, he succumbed to his wounds.

Passersby and some church members caught the perpetrator as he tried to escape. He is currently in police custody.

A member of the church stated that members are “sad and tensed” but remain prayerful.

Nigerian Afropop musician, Mr Eazi, unequivocally apologized to DopeNation. The Ghanaian musical duo are identical twin brothers, Micheal Boafo, popularly known as B2, and Tony Boafo, known as Twist Afrobeat. “We were giving the chance to perform tonight at @mreazi #DettyRave Concert ..only to be treated like TRASH ON STAGE, u give me a platform to perform just to disgrace me..smfh I only get one message for that shaggy guy. WE ARE DOPENATION REGARDLESS ur wicked effort” 

Mr Eazi quickly upon sighting these bitter messages humbly apologized to the artists and management for disrespect. The ‘Akwaaba’ hitmaker took all the blame for the mishap. Also, he assured DopeNation that such a situation would never repeat itself under his watch.

Event organizers, Charterhouse render an apology to patrons at the just ended Ghana Rocks. Moreover, the apology is for Burna Boy’s ‘no show’ at the event.

According to management, acts for the night performed as advertised. However, Burna boy’s absence was due to a sudden illness. His mother and manager communicated the information.

According to Charterhouse, Burna caught up in a stampede at an event the night before and inhaled some tear gas. The police used the tear gas to control and disperse the crowds.

However, efforts to reach him after a rescheduled flight proved futile.

In a communique to disappointed fans, Charterhouse said,

“As a firm believer that has always believed in creating magic at every touch point, we owe it a duty to apologize to you our patrons who were left disappointed, and hope that you find it in your hearts to pardon us.”

Organisers of the TINA Festival step up efforts to ensure the much-anticipated music festival achieve its purpose.

TINA Festival is the initiative of UK-based Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Fuse ODG. Moreover, he expects to light up the Round Pavilion of the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre on Friday, January 4, 2019.

Artistes performing at the event include Ghana’s award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, Joey B, Stefflon Don, Lethal Bizzle and some underground artistes.

Also, host of the festival, Fuse ODG has thrilling performances for patrons of the event.

Fans get the opportunity to engage in side attraction activities such as, Day Party, Concert, Marketplace. Also, Open Mic and Best Dressed Kente/African wear Fashion competition.

Furthermore, prior to the main event, there is a conference open to the public on free admission. This is at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The New Africa Nation Conference is a series of discussions and talks led by top-notch leaders from the African continent, particularly those in the acts industry.
