Seasoned Ghanaian actor, Ekow Smith Asante says media houses must pay celebrities whenever they grant them interviews.<\/p>\n

According to him celebrities appear on media platforms to enrich the entity’s content. Adding that for this reason they should be some payment for the appearance.<\/p>\n

The \u00a0Passion of the Soul actor stressed that media houses charge celebrities whenever they need to promote a movie or product. Meanwhile, these media houses expect interviews to be done for free.<\/p>\n

Ekow Smith Asante added that unless there is a barter agreement, media houses should pay for such interviews.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe moment you invite a celebrity to your station, you should [pay them],\u201d he told Lexis Bill on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM Monday.<\/p>\n
