Ghanaian highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu affectionately called Daddy Lumba is going to court. He is taking Kwame Anokye to court. Anokye has pretended to be his son for material gains, benefits and publicity for a long time.<\/p>\n

The ‘Yentie Obia’ hitmaker filed the lawsuit at an Accra High Court. He alleges that Kwame Anokye impersonates him.<\/p>\n

Genesis Of The Story<\/h4>\n

The story began when Kwame Anokye appeared on TV Africa\u2019s reality show dubbed \u201cJust Like You\u201d.<\/em> It\u00a0was a reality show where talented youths imitate and demonstrate how their favourite artiste sings, speaks and performs on stage.<\/p>\n

However, Kwame Anokye did not let the impersonation end there. Moreover, he carried on to portray himself as his son because of his great resemblance with the hitmaker.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, according to the highlife sensation, Kwame Anokye\u2019s impersonation has affected his business, brand and reputation.<\/p>\n

He believes that, the name Daddy Lumba is exclusively his in the music industry. Therefore, no one has the right to use it in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

Background Of Daddy Lumba<\/h4>\n

Daddy Lumba has about 30 albums to his credit. He is considered to be one of the veteran sensational highlife musicians Ghana has ever had. His music is loved by many Ghanaians because of his creative use of the local language in his music.<\/p>\n
