Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Isaac Kamoko aka Bukom Banku says the Black Stars Skipper, Asamoah Gyan hates him.<\/p>\n
According to him, he is disappointed in Gyan for signing his opponent Bastir Samir on his Baby Jet Promotion.<\/p>\n
The 37-year-old boxer who Bukom Banku suffered the first loss of his career last year to Bastie Samir. The 37-year-old boxer further added that said the Black Stars Captain is envious of him. He believes that is what resulted in the signing of the super middleweight boxer.<\/p>\n
\u201cAsamoah Gyan is jealous of me. How can I fight with Bastir Samir and after losing the fight you sign Bastir, then that means you\u2019re my enemy. If I lost the bout and you sign my opponent, it is obvious that you hate me. Baby Jet wants to disgrace me by signing Bastir Samir.\u201d He told SVTV Africa.<\/p>\n
Banku was speaking in an interview with Evans Amewugah, host of SVTV Africa Sports. He however refused to comment on the recent bout between Emmanuel \u201cThe Gameboy\u201d Tagoe and Argentine David Saucedo.<\/p>\n
\u201cI beg in the name of God, I don\u2019t want to talk about \u2018Game Boy\u2019 and his manager, Asamoah Gyan\u2019s issue concerning the recent bout because they\u2019re envious of me.\u201d Bukom Banku said.<\/p>\n
Banku lost his unbeaten record to Bastie \u201cThe Beast\u201d Samir on October 21 by TKO in round seven of their cruiser weight bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena.<\/p>\n
Banku entered the bout on the back of a 29-bout winning run could not stand the power of his younger opponent and twice visited the canvas during the bout.<\/p>\n
Sports presenter, Anim Addo told Accra based Citi Fm that Bastir Samir will be signed together with experienced lightweight boxer George Ashie.<\/p>\n
Baby Jet Promotions already have IBO World Lightweight Champion Emmanuel \u201cGame Boy\u201d Tagoe in their ranks.<\/p>\n
Anim Addo revealed that his outfit owned by captain Gyan are into signing the best boxing talents in the country.<\/p>\n
Bastir Samir rose to fame in Ghana after beating the then undefeated Braimah \u201cBukom Banku\u201d Kamoko in October 2017 in non-titile bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena.<\/p>\n
