Asamoah Gyan Queries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Black Stars Skipper, Asamoah Gyan has lashed out at Ghanaians for loving to celebrate the dead more than the living.<\/p>\n<p>Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns lost her life in a tragic motor accident on Friday 8, February whiles returning from Sunyani to Accra.<\/p>\n<p>Tributes and heart warming messages have since been pouring out from all angles.<\/p>\n<p>However, she was heavily criticized and even insulted when she was alive due to her style of dressing.<\/p>\n<p>Many Ghanaian tagged her with\u00a0 &#8216;nudity&#8217; and some even wished her ill luck whiles others went as far as wishing her dead.<\/p>\n<p>Now that she&#8217;s no more, the music has changed from bad to good as everyone is celebrating her great talent.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Stars Captain has noted this and and has expressed his disgust at Ghanaians over this behavior.<\/p>\n<p>According to the former Sunderland goal poacher, although he&#8217;s currently not in Ghana, he does hear all that go on in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Gyan in an Instagram post noted how Ebony&#8217;s songs are being played everywhere now that she&#8217;s no more. He goes on to ask Ghanaians to go and talk to her about her dress styles.<\/p>\n<h3>Asamoah Gyan&#8217;s Post;<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAlthough we are not in Ghana, we are Ghanaians and sometimes we hear what is going on. Now the person is gone. Go and talk about her state of dressing,\u201d he said in a video he posted on his Instagram page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow that the person is gone they are playing her song everywhere.\u201d He noted.<\/p>\n<p>Asamoah Gyan queries whether Ghanaians love to celebrate the dead more than the living.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre we trying to say we celebrate the dead more than the living?\u201d, he asked.<\/p>\n<p>He further advised Ghanaian to change their mentality because things are getting worse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to change. We have to change our mentality. We were all born in Africa. We all know the African culture but things are getting worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gyan couldn&#8217;t fathom how people just jump into judging others without getting to know them first.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t know people and we just judge them. I don\u2019t know what people see.
