The Minister of\u00a0 Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Catherine Afeku together with her entourage after\u00a0 visiting the Larabanga Mosque and the Mystic Stone in the West Gonja District proceeded to the Mole National Park,which is one of Ghana’s biggest natural parks. But things took an unexpected turn when the Minister and her entourage were taken hostage by an angry elephant.<\/p>\n
For over 30 minutes, the convoy was held hostage and was at the mercy of the elephant that was attracted by a siren from the Minister’s convoy midway through their journey in the park.<\/p>\n
After about 30 minutes, a lul which looked like a reprieve proved a hoax when the elephant started chasing the minister and her entourage just as they were about to lave the scene.<\/p>\n
The situation was so scary that even the police officers were gripped by fear. One policeman leading the convoy on a motorcade was seen fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n
