This has however been ‘misinterpreted’ by many Ghanaians.\u00a0 Especially those without deep knowledge of the various customs and traditions in Ghana.<\/p>\n
There are those that are even alleging that it’s because the father was a member of a secret society.<\/p>\n
Black is usually the dominating colour used in mourning of our departed ones.<\/p>\n
However, there are those who use red, and even white based on customs and traditions of the person.<\/p>\n
Since the death of the Ebony Reigns, his father is always in white apparels.<\/p>\n
Nana Poku Kwarteng has come out to explain his reason for this act.<\/p>\n
According to him his choice of clothes are as a result of what his customs demanded in the event of a death of his family member.<\/p>\n
Nana Poku belongs to the Akan clan in Ghana. According to the customs of the clan, a father is to wear white clothes if he was losing a child for the first time.<\/p>\n
The spokesman for the family indicated that Mr. Nana Poku Kwarteng\u2019s way of dressing was in line with the Akan tradition and there was nothing wrong with it. The mouthpiece of the family also vehemently ruled out the connection of Ebony\u2019s father\u2019s choice of clothing to any form of ritual or occultism.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, family of the late \u201cSponsor\u201d hitmaker have however hinted at taking some legal action against certain individuals. These are those who have leveled certain allegations against their daughter after her death.<\/p>\n
This revelation came during the one-week funeral rites in a meeting with Afia Schwarzenegger, Mzbel, Nana Tornado among others. According to the family, they were going to take legal action against all those who have badmouthed their daughter in one way or the other at the opportune time.<\/p>\n
