Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has some words for the way certain Gospel musicians dress. She said the reason many gospel musicians have come under heavy criticism for their dress sense is because they lack knowledge in fashion.
\nAlthough, the gospel music industry has evolved and changed over the years, the dressing of some of the musicians is nothing to write home about.<\/p>\n
She made these statements in an interview with Doreen Andoh on Joy FM. She answered the question on why many female gospel musicians are constantly ridiculed on the way they dress.<\/p>\n
According to her, \u201cYou can\u2019t put on a night makeup at day and you can\u2019t put on dinner wear in the day. It\u2019s basically lack of knowledge to think you\u2019ve dressed so wonderfully but you look funny. \nShe added, \u201cMost of us attained this our career path by chance. We don\u2019t have education, we don\u2019t have costume managers. We are not managed properly so we take our personal decision on what to wear and all that.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>
\nCelestine however offered a solution to the ‘problem’. She said instead of insulting the musicians who dress this way, we should rather educate them on how to dress.
