Therefore, he is the Director General of the Police Intelligence and Professional Standards (PIPS) bureau.<\/p>\n<h4>About COP Kofi Boakye<\/h4>\n<p>COP Boakye, apart from being a police officer is a trained lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>He is experiencing his second transfer since the change of government.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he moved from the Ashanti region as the regional commander to the Police headquarters as Director General Research\/Planning in February 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This was in an internal memo signed by the IGP David Asante-Apeatu.
