Well, it seems John Dumelo isn’t a fan of the Independence Day celebration.<\/p>\n

Yesterday was Ghana’s Independence Day. While the whole country was celebrating, however, not a lot of people were happy about what was going on in the country.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, John Dumelo is one of those people who are critical of the celebrations.<\/p>\n

Moreover, John Dumelo went on social media to attack the Independence day celebrations. He claimed that the government doesn\u2019t have its priorities straight in budgeting \u2018millions\u2019 for it.<\/p>\n

In a tweet, Dumelo listed some problems with the country and said there\u2019s nothing to be celebrated on this day.<\/h4>\n

\u201c\u2026There\u2019s nothing to celebrate. Pupils lie on their stomachs to study in Yikurugu, UER, teachers teach IT with no computers all over the country etc. Yet we budget millions to celebrate 6th March? Ghana without aid starts with us getting our priorities straight.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However, a lot of people are giving the actor the side eye.<\/p>\n

This is because they feel like why didn’t he say these things when his party, NDC, was in power.<\/p>\n

A lot of people think it’s hypocritical of him to state these thing. This is especially in light of the scandals that plagued that presidency.<\/p>\n

However, there are people that believe in his sentiment.<\/p>\n
