Nominees for the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have been unveiled.<\/p>\n
As usual, everyone is vouching for his or her favorite artiste to win in the various categories.<\/p>\n
Rapper\/Hiplife artiste, Edem is also vouching for rapper Eno Barony to walk away as the ‘Best Rapper Of The Year’<\/p>\n
Eno Barony made history of becoming the first female rapper to be nominated in such category.<\/p>\n
She’s competing with male counterparts such as TeePhlow, Sarkodie, Lil Shaker, Kojo-cue, and\u00a0Strongman.<\/p>\n
And Edem, born Denning\u00a0Edem\u00a0Hotor\u00a0 is solidly behind her.<\/p>\n
For him, Eno deserves to win in order to serve as an encouragement for in-coming female rappers.<\/p>\n
He added that the rap category has, over the years, remained male-dominated. Hence he thinks a female winning it would boost the morale of other women who are rappers.<\/p>\n
\u201dI think Eno should win to set a new trend in the mindset of girls that they can win. She is arguably one of the best female rappers in Ghana. Eno is Officially signed to 2MG Music, a label owned by multiple hit producer Mix Master Garzy.
